The slashers, a man and three women presumably Charles Manson and his groupies, their faces are never seen. You only see them in shadows. No depth into any of the characters.
On the plus side of things, it does have plenty of jump scares if that's all you are into. The film is just a dumb slasher flick, nothing more.

Nanuk - Wolves at my doorThe whole twins who fall for the same girl isn't really something that works for me as it just feels strange to me. I did like how they knew what they wanted and how different their style and behavior was from the two incubus characters.
I liked their work hard and down to earth attitude. They also genuinely seem to care about Helen. I like how there is a chapter or two from the point of view of each of the guys as it helps get a better feel for them and what they're going through and thinking.
There are also two new side characters we meet in this book that were interesting. While this series definitely can be read as standalone, I do notice clearly that I haven't read two of the series by this author as they sometimes refer to events that happened there.
It's interesting how all these series take place in the same world. I might have to go back and read some of the other series eventually as well.
To summarize: this was a great sequel. There were some interesting developments in this book story and romance wise. I liked learning more about the characters, all the 4 love interests were developed a bit more in this book.
And Helena's romance with them all progresses too and the reverse harem aspect is build more in this book. All in all this was a fun read and I enjoy this series.

I was excited to continue on with this series, but unfortunately I didn't have as much fun with this one as I did with the first book.
Not to say it was bad by any means! Just my enjoyment factor wasn't as high. I can't exactly put my finger on why I wasn't as into the over all book- but as strange as it sounds I think its because I didn't have as much fun reading about this house flip.
Billie was introduced- at first as a rival buyer and then as a collaborator and friend- and while I liked ano I was excited to continue on with this series, but unfortunately I didn't have as much fun with this one as I did with the first book.
Billie was introduced- at first as a rival buyer and then as a collaborator and friend- and while I liked another female character in the cast- the difference of opinions on how to handle the house as well as how to deal with Pandora's box caused a bit of discord and friction in the story that made the plot a bit less exciting to read.
Instead of reading about the progress going on in the build, the romance, and the magical plot- everyone felt a bit frustrated in this one.
Helena not knowing what to do with her life or relationships- Graham not knowing where he fits in- Byron still not being able to say much, and the brothers trying to keep their hats in the ring made me want to jump right to the next book for some resolution.
That might not be fair to say because obviously these characters are going to have growing pains not to mention they are possibly starting a revolution but hopefully in the next one I will feel a bit more connected to the story!

I hardly give 1 star to books, unless there is something I truly hated. The first book has so much potential! Royal witch who has ditched her cold, manipulative family flipping houses with her own bare hands.
She's strong, making a life for herself, caring, with the potential to be a powerful force. But his book was just a bunch of I hardly give 1 star to books, unless there is something I truly hated.
But his book was just a bunch of filler. The house flipping was light and interesting in the first one, but this one was ALL about fixing this monstrosity of a manor, everyone arguing about their different ideas and opinions.
And some sex thrown in, like the author suddenly remembered this was about a witch in a RH romance. I skimmed the last sex scene with the twin werewolf brothers.
Also, I tried to not let it bother me in the beginning when I still cared what was happening in the story , but there is A LOT of mention of the guys' experience with other women.
We do get the males' perspective in some chapters and there are plenty of inner monologues that start with "I had felt this attraction to other women, but The wolves reasons for liking Helena aren't great.
They basically like her because she is royal but doesn't want to be. She's a princess duchess? A good reason to find someone interesting but to base a whole polyamorous relationship on?
Not feeling it. Graham was my favorite character by far. He was raised human and he handles the truth so fluidly and endearingly? His arc is believable and I'm rooting for his happiness.
He was guarded and slightly awkward. But he's just this riddle-speaking, powerful entity in this one. He got one chapter and otherwise seemed like a side character.
Billie was annoying. She was a "poor witch" and got picked on when she went to Helena's private school on scholarship.
She came off understandingly aggressive when the book starts. Helena sort of picked on her along with the other rich kids in school out of survival, mind you and now Billie hates her guts and thinks she's a rich, spoiled brat.
But when they get down to actually fixing the damn house, Billie is the prissy little princess who doesn't want to do any hard work and just wants to do her little decorating projects.
Screw you, Billie. Overall, I just don't feel that our heroine is the right heroine? She doesn't feel as strongly about bringing down the powerful witches.
She literally just wants to carve her own path and live a normal life. And I actually want that for her. The other characters can keep working on the whole find the pieces of the map and bringing down the magical hierarchy.
Even the harem seems weak at the end of this second book. I don't feel real passion or dedication in this RH other than in the house flipping.
And come on! The house doesn't even sell in the end?! A disappointing book all around. Such a fun series. I was a little let down with the twins scene but the scene with Graham?
I'll be reading the third soon. Not sure if it's the conclusion of the trilogy or not? I'll have to check out the original series I think this may have branched off from.

Well this is still good but if they were longer so that the ideas can be explored more they would be great. The story line and house renovations sort of clash at times.
I liked the fight at the end and what came about because of it. I really thought that Billy was a goner the same with Helen's familiar.

This one is a challenge because she is not the only one trying to by it. Her Rival Billie another witch tops her when it comes to the selling price.
At first Hel was upset but then Billie learns she needs her help when the house is so much more then she bargained for.
This is a fabulous addition to this wonderful series. Has lots of surprise twists that forces them all to work together in ways they never thought possible.

This was a cute addition to the Paranormal House Flippers series. With her rag tag team of four insanely hot guys, Helena is trying to solve the mystery of the Sons of Pandora and figure out a way to bring Byron back from not-so-dead.
Due to this, Helena is on the fence about a lot of issues with the magical world. It was never a life she envisioned for herself.
It makes her all the more realistic when she faces these struggles throughout the book and creates a more fleshed out FMC without her being overly annoying or stupid.
The story is coming along well despite the plot dragging a little in this book. I think that had more to do with how they were going to get things done and whether everyone was all in on the plans to throw their world into chaos.

The first book was so much fun, and this one did not disappoint! Here, we get more mythos and seeing the flawed system in action.
There is more paranormal fighting, more romance, and more house flipping! The group expands here too with the addition of Billie and Gaston not part of the RH.
It was nice to see additional people so close to the RH without being in the RH. I don't see that very often and it continues the theme of exploring how an RH would actually be received.
