The only way to define this move is as Amazing. The movie begins with a question not quite heard from one character to another, asking a young woman to make her decision regarding something that would change her life, as well as his own.

He need not have bothered to ask, as the lives of all 8 characters was about to be altered regardless of their consent.

And the movie delivered, desperately at time, confusing at other times and then, just when you begin to think you know where these folks are headed, you are thrown into a different, well, dimension.

This is a movie that should not be overlooked from the moment of one screen cracked cell phone to the damage of other aspects of each of the character's lives.

It is all about falling down that rabbit hole, but instead of seeking a way back out, one is determined to search inward, as the characters, quite literally, do what we all at one point or another - seek the answers to themselves.

What each character finds is illuminating as well as frightening, though unexpected to both the character as well as the viewer. It is not looking at a mirror image, but rather, seeking to find a side-ways view to one's own life.

It is just an incredible journey with characters that are both likable as well as despicable. I do not know when I will watch this again, or if I will, but I do know that in order to better appreciate this film, I need to watch it over and perhaps over again, if for no other reason than to learn what I have very little understanding about, but of which I am quite curious;.

Yes sometimes you can get the gist of a movie by watching a couple minutes of a movie but there are some movies where the exact opposite is true.

If you skipped the first ten minutes it would hardly matter to the movie at all. The movie barely got started until the twenty or even thirty minute mark.

That is when the fun begins and the movie starts getting twisty and it is part psychological thriller but also a good deal supernatural thriller.

I would highly recommend this movie to those who like watching fairly unlikeable people stuck in a life and death situation trying to find there way out of it.

Eight actors participated. There were more actors than crew. There was no script. According to one of the actors the director and his co writer's eyes were shining as they knew what direction the story was following.

None of the actors did. The rest was just ad-libbed by the actors as they went along. According to the 'making of feature' the film was shot in five days.

This does become apparent during the course of the film. In a way I could imagine a class of drama students doing a similar exercise as part of their course.

Most of the action takes place in a domestic lounge area. The overall gist of the film is that eight friends four couples turn up.

The lights go out. They search around a while using light sticks. After a while they become conscious of the only house with lights on is a couple of blocks away.

The inhabitants of this house seem to be copies of themselves, however they have different coloured light sticks. How very odd I thought- another dimension maybe?
