Please try again later. Verified Purchase. Last season it was the golfer guy's story seemingly out of nowhere shoved into the show and dominating too much of the end of the season.
His dominant trait was that he was silly. This one is even worse. The cop and his daughter are not only not interesting at all but the character of the daughter is something of a monster.
I don't think there is a worse character in existence than some miserable pubescent teenager lashing out at everyone around them and with zero control of themselves.
From Boris to her? It reminds me of the couple of episodes I saw of "A Gifted Man". No where near the intensity but I can't bear to watch an intelligent, highly skilled, and extremely generous person who saves people's lives be consistently treated like garbage by people.
I still like the scenery, Divya, and Paige and some of the cases but the miserable people are given too much attention.
Out of all the characters you could come up with to live in the Hamptons? This guy and his daughter?
I'm so confused. After watching several seasons, the plot seems to be getting kind of repetitive. It seems everywhere Hank or his teams goes, someone is getting sick.
I sure would stay away from them if I saw them coming. I also get aggravated at Evan because he is always screwing something up. But still, the cast sort of grows on you and you can't help but speculate what is going to happen next so I will probably continue to purchase additional seasons.
Wonderful series with beautiful scenery, beautiful women, amazing and daring medical procedures week after week. Lots of laughs.
Lots of fun. One person found this helpful. Hank, Evan, and Divia could not be more different but become a family who are concerned about their patients.
You all wish you had a medical team like this. They become a family over the season and it does not feel forced or perfect.
The brothers fight, but always have the other's back. I don't write many reviews but have been drawn to this show over the last 5 season.
It will make you feel that there is always a good side to life, even when bad things happen to good people. Boris is a great character, and he is stiff, but that does not mean he is not part of the group.
The characters that go in and out play vital roles. It's exhausting and feels endless. I always wonder, though, how it will all be pulled together with the wealthy guy's family fairy tale evil and the now stereotyped Asperger symptom character they are popping up on programs everywhere will evolve.

I miss the days when Hank MacGyvered his way through emergency calls. His doctoring seems less and less important as the ascendance of Evan's character and everything else but the kitchen sink seems to hold sway.
There is a big plot arc in this season involving him and a neighbor trying to destroy their company and yawn. Same old, same old.
Over all the season was OK but is missing a lot of the first two seasons He makes this show and the more Evan is silent the better the show is.
As a longtime fan of this show, I have to say that season 5 has met and at times exceeded my expectations. It touches upon some sensitive subjects and handles them with tact and quite a bit of class.
I was so glad to see Ben Shenkman's character, Dr. Jeremiah Sacani's storyline blossoming. His portrayal is wonderful to watch.
Excellent series to binge watch! The show itself is kinda' fun. My wife loves these, so I've gotten almost all of them.
I think they're a little expensive for the number of shows per dollar, but a fun series. The show itself is kinda' fun!
