Sure, the destruction is impressive, but the story is so shallow, full of coincidences and sheer luck, it's silly. At least The Rock makes for a convincing leading man.

San Andreas started out decently, but quickly gave in to just about every single Hollywood cliche in the books. Bad acting, a disaster movie love story, and worst of all cringe-worthy exposition.

The only thing noteworthy is the special effects, but I'm sure you can find the best bits on YouTube. Avoid this at all costs.
